Robert Flack

Male, b. circa 1713, d. 1784
     Robert Flack, son of Robert Flack and Mary ____, was born circa 1713 probably at Thorley Hall, Thorley, Hertfordshire, where his family farmed.1 Robert married Martha Coulson on 1 September 1737 at All Saints and St John, Hertford, Hertfordshire.2

He made a will on 5 December 1783 in which he described himself as a gentleman farmer of Thorley Hall. He died in 1784 and was buried on 16 July 1784 at St James The Great, Thorley, Hertfordshire. His gravestone recorded that he and his family had occupied Thorley Hall " ... upwards of ninety years ... ". His will was proved on 17 August 1784.1
