     Caroline Cameron was born on 15 November 1900.1,2 She married Philip Cooksey, son of George Philip Cooksey, in 19223,4 and they moved into Philip's home at 128 Lavender Road, Battersea, London,5 where their daughter Joan was born the following year.6 Joan died aged seven in 1930.7 Some time between 1929 and 1932 Philip and Carrie moved next door to 126 Lavender Road, Battersea, London. Where they were joined by Elizabeth Cameron in about 1950. Carrie and Elizabeth stayed there together, after Philip died in 1961, until at least 1965.8,9,10,11 In later life it is believed that she moved to a flat at Battersea High Street, Battersea, London.

Caroline Cameron died in 1995.2

    Caroline's date of birth, tentatively accepted as 1900, matches with the date of birth given at the registration of the death of Caroline Cooksey in 1995. However, the birth of another Caroline Cameron was registered in Lambeth in 1905. A 1900 birth date also ties in with the year she first appeared on the electoral register in 1929 when she was coming up to 30 - the age at which women were allowed to vote.
