Matthew Dayles

     Matthew Dayles was born circa 1658. Matthew married Mary ____ circa 1687.

He made a will on 2 December 1710. To his son Matthew he left his lands and tenements in East Hanningfield, and to his son James all his lands and tenements in Tolleshunt D'Arcy and Tollesbury. He further left legacies to Matthew, James his daughter Mary Dayles and to the poor of Wickford, and Tolleshunt D'Acry. His personal estate he bequeathed to his wife Mary whom he nominated as his Executrix.1,2 His estate was probated on 23 October 1713.1
